Store Policies

We consider all information about you and your orders to be confidential. Your right to privacy is important to us and we will not disclose personal information to any other third parties.

Vertpassion.ca requires the following information to process your order:

• First & Last Name
• Billing & Shipping Address
• Email Address
• Phone Number

You will need to enter your credit card information (Number, Expiration Date & CVV) to complete payment for your order. However, we do not keep that information in our servers.

If you have any questions about our confidentiality policy, please contact us.

Prices are published in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Paypal.

All transactions on our site are entirely secure.

For local customers willing to come and pickup the order at our Waterloo, Quebec site, please contact us, so we can make arrangements for a pickup.

We will follow specific COVID procedures to provide for a safe pickup.

Orders are shipped within 2 – 3 days of receiving your order.

All teas are packed in resealable bags.

We do not require signature for our shipments.

Please note all carriers are affected by COVID procedures in place and shipments can be delayed.

Shipping in Canada

Except if you select Canada Post Lettermail, all orders in Canada ship using a trackable service. For our standard shipping, we chose between Canada Post (Expedited Parcel) and ground delivery from UPS, Purolator, Canpar, Fedex, Dicom or others.

• Free Shipping on orders > $50

Shipping is free for orders of $50 or more (before taxes, when applicable) anywhere Canada.

• Standard Shipping on orders < $50

We offer interesting flat rates* in Canada ($5, $11, $14 or $18 (taxes included)) depending where you live.

While not guaranteed, typical standard delivery times are as follows:

Quebec & Ontario                      3 – 5 days

Atlantic Canada                         4 – 7 days

Prairies & Western Canada        6 – 8 days

For faster service, at any given time, we offer you a couple of additional choices, Canada Post Xpresspost & for some locations, additional courier rate choices are also available.

Shipping to the United States

All orders to the United States ship using a trackable service. For our Standard Shipping we chose between Canada Post (Trackable Packet) and ground delivery from UPS, Fedex or others.

• Standard Shipping

We offer an interesting flat rate* to the US (CAD$18) (no taxes apply).

While not guaranteed, typical standard delivery times take between 7 – 12 days depending where you live.

• Pick your Shipping Service

For faster service, at any given time, you can select  Canada Post Xpresspost. We ship from our site in Canada.

Worldwide Shipping

Yes, you can purchase our teas from anywhere in the world. These are the options you have available.

• Small Packet International – Surface

Orders shipped with Canada Post using this service are not trackable or insured. This is the slowest delivery option, but shipping rates are quite reasonable.

• Small Packet International – Air

Orders shipped with Canada Post using this service by air are not trackable or insured, they offer faster speed than surface.

• Tracked Packet – International

Orders shipped with Canada Post using this service by air are trackable. Delivery times are comparable to those offered by the Small Packet International – Air.

• Pick your Shipping Service

Sometimes, you will be presented with one option of courier service, whether DHL, UPS, Fedex, Aramex or others. They offer all trackable and faster options than the postal services offered above.

We ship from our site in Canada. Our Worldwide Shipping Rates do not include any customs duties & brokerage fees. The customer is responsible for those fees. In many cases, tea orders fall below the minimum amounts required to trigger customs duties. However, in several countries you will incur into customs brokerage charges, rules change frequently by country and carrier.

In case of doubt, chose a postal service by Canada Post. Most retail orders fall below the minimums to require payment of customs duties and brokerage fees.

Other Shipping Policies

If you select a PO Box as your address, we will use Canada Post services to deliver your order.

Standard Returns (Canada & US only)

We accept returns for undamaged, unopened & sealed products within 30 date of the date of purchase. You are responsible your shipping charges back to our offices.

We will credit your purchase amount (except shipping fees) to the purchase of another of our products.

Damaged & Lost Shipments (Canada & US only)

If your shipment has been damaged or lost in transport, we accept lost claims & returns within 15 days of the date of purchase,  please send us a picture of your damaged shipment (email to info@vertpassion.ca) as soon as you receive it.

We will pay for the return of your shipment (if damaged) and reship the order once more.

While we provide you with the option of exchanging your product and getting a product reshipped if damaged or lost. Once an order has been placed, it is non-refundable.
