Darjeeling Margaret’s Hope – 2nd flush

Margaret’s Hope is probably the most renown Darjeeling tea garden. The very high altitude of the tea garden makes for slower growing, more delicate and concentrated flavors.  This second flush tea has a distinctive Muscatel, almost wine-like character with hints of currant and is usually harvested from the end of May and throughout June.  Second flush teas have the most depth of character and maturity.
