Darjeeling Gopaldhara Clonal – 1st flush

This 1st flush Darjeeling comes from a clonal cultivar, the small leaves release a mellow golden liquor. It has aromas reminiscent of lemongrass, cooked apricot, butter croissant and a subtle tip of small delicate flowers.

The Gopaldhara Tea Estate, now run by the Saria Family is located in the Mirik Valley in the Darjeeling district, this tea estate is one of the highest estates in the region. The total area of the garden is 320 hectares out of which 172 hectares is under cultivation.
